About

A Kansas City agency that starts with your numbers.

HighRoute exists because too much marketing money gets spent on the wrong thing in the wrong order — confidently.

Who we are

Built for owners who want a straight answer.

We're a small marketing agency working with businesses that are good at what they do and underrepresented online. Trades, service businesses, local operators, firms whose reputation travels by word of mouth but stops at the edge of the internet.

The pattern we see constantly: someone sold them a monthly fee for “social media management,” or a website that looked fine and converted nothing — usually without ever saying what it would cost until they were on a call. The work happened. The business didn't change.

So we do it differently. We look at the economics first, tell you where the actual problem is — even when the answer costs us the sale — and scope only the work that earns its place. Then we measure it in language you'd use with your own team.

What we believe

Four opinions that shape the work.

01

Most marketing problems aren't marketing problems

Plenty of businesses come to us wanting ads and leave with a fixed website and a follow-up process instead — because that's where the money was leaking. Selling you a campaign that pours traffic into a broken funnel would be easy and useless.

02

Small enough to actually care

You'll talk to the people doing the work. There's no account manager relaying messages, no junior quietly inheriting your account after the pitch. That's a deliberate constraint on how many clients we take.

03

Clarity beats cleverness

The cleverest campaign loses to a page that says plainly what you do, who it's for, and what to do next. We start there almost every time, and it's almost always the highest-return work.

04

Your accounts stay yours

Domain, hosting, analytics, ad accounts, content — all in your name from day one. Agencies that hold those hostage are protecting themselves, not you.
